Is it kind of weird when you watch movies or TV or something so that you won’t have to think about real life for an hour or two… and then the characters either have the EXACT same problems you do, or they just straight up look and act like someone you know.

Am I the only one that does this?

Of course, it doesn’t help that nine out of ten plots contain The Triangle. You know full well what I’m talking about. The Triangle, when, for example, a guy likes a girl who likes a different guy, who loves her back, leaving the original guy sunk. Or girl, if it goes the other way. But seriously! Or the girl likes the guy, who is clueless, and keeps telling the girl about all his other girlfriends. Either way, it’s The Triangle, and it’s everywhere.

But I digress.

I think I’m just as much at fault with the “oh! He looks like so-and-so.” I’m always the only one that sees it. I guess I’m just too much of a people watcher.

That was really random, guys, sorry.

I’m back from Texas, and let me tell you… besides the fact that I had the worst stomacheache ever (ALL weekend), I had a fantastic time. It was relaxing and crazy all at once, and none of us got much sleep, but it was all well worth it. The best part of the entire weekend was sitting by the lake just after sunset, singing. Honestly, that’s all it takes.

Anyhow, I had a great time… it was cool seeing James and Ashley again, and getting to meet some new people, and just hanging out and having a good time. That, and Dallas is cool.

I think LB and Shawna were cheating on that blogathon by the way. BUT that’s okay, because I didn’t really want eternal glory anyway. I’ll settle for the best advice I’ve gotten in a long time, and a picture that… well, you’ll see it when she lets me post it.

That’s all for now. I’ve got a bunch of stuff to catch up with, which really shouldn’t be done at one in the morning (never, EVER watch the over-emotional twelve-episode season finale of a show you’ve been loyally following religiously for at least six months, after not getting much sleep all weekend… because you’ll find yourself sitting at your computer sobbing because your favorite character just got stabbed!). Yes. I still watch LG15…

I can’t be the only one with a theme song. Well, it’s not really a theme song, as in “here I am, running in the room, now cue the dramatic theme music!” Very few people I know could actually get away with that kind of theme song and pull it off well.

No, what I’m talking about is that one song with the lyrics that like… sum up your entire existence. It could be one you’ve written, a popular song, a not-so-popular song, a lyric-less song (sometimes it’s just all about the music and the mood)… any song in the entire world. Heck, you could have more than one. Do you have one?

I do. I’m reluctant to share it, because it’s kind of personal. I’ll give you a hint: It’s this week’s (alas, delayed) Music Monday.
