The last couple of days, Oklahoma has seen a crazy ice storm. It’s mostly melted by now, but half of my town is without power still (and it’s spotty, block-by-block), and most of the roads look like a war zone… trees down everywhere. We lost electricity yesterday for about twelve hours, and my work lost power yesterday and it didn’t come back on until this evening (which meant a crazy day at working at another store!). They say that power might be iffy or so for the next couple days… or a week or so.
I’m just glad I’ve got electricity, and so does my store. Today was truly insane.
It was beautiful, though, for the first day and before the trees really started coming down. I wish I had thought to grab my camera!

Just had to comment on you music choice. You have “Boten Anna” on you music-thingy. It’s a swedish guy singing in swedish and about the worst piece of crap you can thing of. How come you listening to it? I mean, other from that you had some really good music

@chori: … Uh yeah, don’t know what to say to that. It’s catchy, I love music in other languages, and I harbor a secret adoration for techno/dance music?
Plus it’s the nerdiest song ever and it makes me happy inside.

Electricity is so over rated. I can make that with my hair and a ballon, for real.

Its so funny because people here in Toronto, Canada are complaining and in the main part of the city we only had about a foot of snow, and not much ice. North had a lot more than us but they still didn’t have the severity that you all had down there. People here in the city are getting weak!
