About This Entry

Lazy Week

I am back… I just didn’t have the “oomph” to say anything the last couple of days. My family just got back, too, so the energy in the house is up. I know I gripe a lot about my family sometimes, but seriously, this house seems so empty without them. It was great not having to do anything, but at the same time, there was nothing to do!

Sukkot was nice, very laid back. Camping in real tents (we finally sold the trailer that we really didn’t like anyway), cooking over the fire (well, sometimes), eating s’mores, sitting in the lake all day (because it was too hot to do anything else), and playing backgammon to odd hours of the morning. Dad took my camera, and if he got any good pictures, I’ll post them up. It was nice. Lonely at times, but nice.

My couple of days at home alone were cool too. With all of the people in my family, there’s always someone around, so it was weird. Plus they took all of the food with them! And if they left something for me, they took the stuff I needed to actually cook it!

All of that with some drama at work (attempted poisoning, or something, plus that drunk guy today?) and some sorta-drama with a personal situation, it’s been an interesting week.

Tomorrow I’m going to run and get a capo so I can play things in the right key… and then make another attempt at cleaning my room. Lazy week is over! Now get to work!

I agree. My family drives me crazy two ways to Sunday, but I dunno what I would do without them sometimes. :)

Mmm… s’mores. I’m hungry, rofl.

I’m the same way, when I’m at home I get so annoyed by my family but now that I’m in college I miss them so much!

In the defense of drunk people, they can add hilarity to a situation.

Look at Karen Walker!

Same here! I always complain about my family, but the house feels so silent without ‘em.

Besides, I miss smashing my brother’s brains out. XD

Meli! I’m back too, barely functioning at a normal level, but I’m around, lol. Glad to hear you had a good time this sukkot. Ours was good, but I miss sukkot already, it didn’t last long enough :( Miss you *hugs*

I know what you mean about the family thing XD. My family drive me nuts, but I still love them to bits! I’m glad you had a good time at Sukkot too :D.

I also love being home alone. As for food, I CANNOT cook but thats whats take-away is for :)

Hope you have an awesome week ahead of you :)

I love staying at my friend’s house because it’s just so wiiild. My family feels to quiet sometime… I couldn’t imagine being all alone though!

The camping sounds so fun; now I feel like eating s’mores :P

I like being home alone but I get lazy and I don’t want to cook or clean the house, when my parents are around, I can focus in my own stuff and I have someone to talk to.

I too share the family sentiments you have. As crazy as they drive me, I miss all the noise and the teasing and the Tagalog-speaking that goes on at home. I haven’t gone in a while, but I will in two weeks, so I’m excited. :]

S’mores = :9. I haven’t had s’mores in the longest time (ok, since 3rd grade, to be exact). I should buy some stuff for it when I go grocery shopping tomorrow. ;)
