This and That
Wednesday, February 7th, 2007I got an early birthday present from my bosses today… they let me off work at one thirty instead of four thirty. Hooray! I ended up running all over town with Mom… she wasn’t feeling good, so she’s like, “I’ll drive you around if you run my errands for me!” I did.
Came home, worked on some editing, and then ran back out with Mom (neither of us wanted to cook dinner, so we went to KFC… employer of the stupidest teenage specimens known to mankind). Now I’m working on installing and setting up the Torah Teens forum. I haven’t actually installed a phpbb forum in a while, so I had to backtrack a few places (mainly just… “Mel, did you even create a database yet?” “No. Oops.”) Caleb sent me an email with all of the particulars, so I’ll work on getting that set up so it won’t be hard for him to manage.
Okay, everyone else that’s doing the blogathon… WHAT ON EARTH do you guys do to come up with something to say everyday! I mean, I remember the xanga days when I’d have to sit on my hands to prevent posting three times every day. What happened? Has my life really gotten so boring that I have nothing to say about it? Am I that bland that I can’t think of something interesting to say? Honestly, I don’t follow the news or any current issues, so I can’t comment on that. I don’t follow trends in anything (except maybe e-life).
Oh, that’s right. James is coming up, not this weekend, but the next, and Chelsy may be coming with him. Awesome! We’ll see how that goes. If I could drive, it would all be so much easier… I’m just afraid we’re going to get stuck in Shawnee with nothing to do (guitars or no guitars).
Well, over and out for tonight.
