Narnia = good movie

Narnia - TumnusSo, the day that Narnia came out on video, we went and saw it in the theaters. Story of my life, really… wait until something comes to the dollar theater! I don’t mind… it was really good. I mean, I thought they were going to butcher it, but they didn’t, so I was impressed.

A week from now, I’m going to be finally performing those two dances for passover. I’m kind of nervous, and not because I’m afraid of messing up the dance or anything, but because we haven’t completely finished choreography for Redeemer, and Jessica won’t be there on Friday to help us finish. We’ll have to finish without her. I don’t know how we’re going to do it.

I’ve been graphically exhausted recently… no inspiration for anything. Thankfully, there will be a giving thread on my favorite forum, and so it will force me into making things. This is a good thing. Especially how I’m helping Jessyca get her site redesigned, and I must say, I like the design. Shh, she can’t see it yet!

Other than that, same old, same old.

I’ve thrown away
so many things that could’ve been much more
and I just pray
my problems go away if they’re ignored
but that’s not the way it works
no that’s not the way it works

Guys, you need to yell at me! I need to get back into this. BIGTIME.

Boring Internet Updates: I took off two of the CYF themes that nobody (not even ME) used, and added another, really pretty one and set it as the default. And I’m working on a subdomain that’s actually going to be a writing porfolio, instead of having separate ones for separate things.

Semi-Interesting Life Updates: n/a. HAHA, just kidding. Actually, the thing right now is still the passover dances. Only the three of us in my family that are dancing are going to the community seder, because the elders of my congregation very obviously do not have children under thirty, and they don’t realize that a four or five hour seder starting at seven or eight at night, with small children, is a recipe for disaster. But our home seder is the night before, so it’s fine.

Tomorrow: dance practice at the Dupler’s house. The next day? Only time will tell.

Random Update: I’m learning how to make music videos from DVD’s from a friend of mine, and so I’m teaching myself to use Windows Movie Maker. Well, I can use it now but I’m not the greatest at it, but as soon as I have the video uploaded I shall post it. It’s a Dance video, taking clips from old camp CD’s, and set to music. Kind of lame, but thoroughly satisfying for ME anyhow.
